Hotel Gerbermuhle - Frankfurt am Main

An excellent small hotel on the banks of the river Main.They have a lovely garden restaurant about ten metres from the river,which is always pleasently cool.Good beds,excellent service,friendly staff.The restaurant alone is worth a trip,with an interesting wine card.There were mostly business people staying there at the time.Reasonably priced by Frankfurt standards,and very good value for money.

If you are early- to -bed types,it can get a bit loud in the evening with a few revellers in the garden below.However,the windows are so soundproof,and the air-conditioning so good,that you won`t hear anything from outside.I really have no negative complaints.

Excellent service, one of the best I have experienced. Breakfast really good, again impeccable service there as well. Only minus is the fact, that curtains could not be closed, which is kind of unpleasant in June, early morning the daylight wakes one up.

This hotel was first class. The staff we very helpful and spoke very good english. We found the room and the hotel to be very well kept. The breakfast had plenty of variety and tasted very good.

The food was fabulous and the wait-staff were excellent. I thought both the dinner and the breakfast were over-the-top in taste and presentation.

Although I chose this hotel for its location, I actually thought it was closer to the downtown old part of Frankfurt. It was actually further away than I was aware. Nonetheless, I really am glad I stayed there and I would do so again. The Park setting along the bank of the river more than made up for the distance away from the City Center.

Smokers in the bar! What do you mean, smokefree hotel. We had to sit outside in the drafty hallway where it took another 10 minutes/5 people to get a drink. Also we had a very, very small room (12 m). Therefore room too overpriced

Very nice designed hotel. Rooms have nice view of the Elbe River and Frankfurt sky line. The breakfast place is in a very special place looking towards the river and the garden. It is also very nicely served with high quality style.

The Internet connection had low signal so it was either not being connected at all or disconnected during working times. Parking is problematic in the evenings when the restaurant clients are parking there.

Fantastic hotel, spacious rooms, comfy bed, great shower, free minibar. The hotel is nicely designed and decorated, bar and restaurant (with a winter garden) are terrific. Great view of Frankfurt skyline.

The restaurant offers good food but is really overpriced. Good breakfast but I expected more, not at the same level of the hotel. The bar was closed for a private event in the night I stayed there.

Room very good and dinner excellent as always

Hotel reserved the whole amount of 3 rooms price in advance (I reserved for 2 other persons at same time) and now after 4 days the whole 3 rooms price is still reserved from my account and furthermore the invoiced sum. Front desk said as I was a bit suspicous in advacne that this would not happen - but I knew it better. So this was my second time at the hotel this year and I won't come again.

A nice hotel and we got a free upgrade to a suite. Very comfortable, nice river view, nice decor, price very competitive and free parking available. The hotel is a bit far away from city centre, but okay for us as we drove.

We loved the fact that the staff was enthusiastic, polite and helpful...that the service was perfect, breakfast - wonderful and coffee....superb! The terrace of the hotel is next to a park so plenty of space for kids to run and play around. One would need a car though to go downtown but, on the bright side, the parking at the hotel is free (and so is the internet). Wonderful place to relax, overlooking the river, and enjoy!

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was great (we had an upgrade) and the beer garden was so nice to just sit in and relax. The location at the river was a special bonus. There is a bar and a restaurant as well.

if you need anything, receptionist will tell you to pick it up yourself at the receptionist desk; you need a car, otherwise the location is too remote. However, driving to Frankfurt's shopping area is max 15 min

Free Wi-Fi, free parking, free minibar. Great breakfast, especially the orange juice was delicious.

I had to call the staff each time to open the parking gate. Sometimes you need to wait more than 5 min.

Hospitality at this hotel was truly outstanding.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and in a nice location. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
